Australian citizens must hold a valid passport to board international cruise ships. Visa requirements may vary depending on the cruise itinerary, including port destinations. You should consult the cruise line’s official website (e.g., Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, etc.) and government resources such as Smartraveller (smartraveller.gov.au) for the most up-to-date information.

Failure to present correct documents at the time of boarding may result in being denied entry onto the ship, with no refund.

Most Poker Escapes cruise packages include cruise fare only. If you require assistance with air travel or hotel bookings in your cruise’s departure city, please let us know at the time of booking. We can assist in coordinating flights and accommodations to ensure a smooth experience.

We can assist in booking shuttle transfers between the airport, hotel, and cruise terminal. For details, please contact us directly to discuss your options and pricing.

Shore excursions are available at most port destinations on Poker Escapes cruises. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are interested in booking onto the optional shore excursions offered by the cruise line.

Poker Escapes also offers exclusive private excursions for our poker travellers. Details will be shared once you have confirmed your cruise booking.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance. This can protect you financially in the event of unexpected cancellations, delays, or medical emergencies during your trip.

Cruise fares are based on twin-share (double occupancy) accommodation. If you are a solo traveller and would like to share a cabin, Poker Escapes will do its best to match you with another traveller of the same gender. Please let us know if you would like to be paired.

Planning a birthday, anniversary, or even a wedding at sea? We’re happy to help organise these special occasions for you. Let us know at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements with the cruise line.

If you have dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or other special requests, please inform us at the time of reservation. We will coordinate with the cruise line to accommodate your needs wherever possible.

Children are welcome aboard most cruises. Many ships offer kids’ clubs, babysitting, and family-friendly programs. If you’re bringing children and require specific services, let us know so we can assist in arranging the appropriate accommodations and activities.

All Poker Escapes poker rooms are strictly non-smoking. Cruise lines typically maintain a non-smoking environment across the ship, but designated smoking areas are provided for guests who smoke.
